A native of Baltimore, I am an artist and art educator living in Northern Baltimore County, Maryland. Coming from a long line of artists, I was always encouraged by my family to pursue art.
One of my passions is painting animals, especially dogs. To me, dogs have always been a constant source of fun, love, loyalty, beauty and inspiration.
Another strong interest is event painting in watercolor. It is very challenging and exciting at the same time. It captures the essence of a subject or a moment in time like nothing else I have ever tried.
I work in many different media including watercolor, oil, pastel and charcoal. My aim is to convey the feeling, energy and spirit of my subjects. My hope is to connect to the viewer and allow them to "finish" the work on their own, showing them more than they already know.
